Hello!
My name is Farah Shah but I am known as Fawa.
I have completed a bachelors degree in Graphic Design, illustration and Digital Media, graduating with a First Class Honours.
The next step after my degree is to concentrate on getting my work out there, and become a famous children illustrator.
As I see myself as an illustrator, I continue to research different possibilities of using mixed media and collage within my design work.

Inspirational Course

Since I have finished my degree, I have become lost with what to do next. I have had little time to really promote myself and send out my business cards to agencies.
Anywho, I have been bugging my former tutor about a course he runs, where you have access to all the uni's facility like printing press, textiles area etc, and he said he would get back to me.
I went to the Leeds art book fair yesterday to find some inspiration, and long behold, I bumped into my tutor. Am so glad I saw him as he had something to give me!
He gave me a leaflet on the course, and guess what is starts in two weeks time. I cannot wait! Hehe.

Finished my Degree with First Class

Its taken me a couple of weeks to get over the fact that I have finished my degree. I cannot believe that three years have flown just like that, and I have learnt so much.
I can say I am going to miss it like mad, it was the best thing I ever did.
And referring to the title, yes I was the only one in the class to get a First Class Honours. Thats just wow. 0_O
Anywho my next goal is to get this book published, I have spent the second semester on it, so I am hoping it will go further and get on the book shelves.
And I must update my profile etc.

The Frog Prince / Degree Show

Oh I have finished the Graphics Design, Illustration and Digital Media degree. Wow, three years and I have learnt so much. I cannot thank my tutors enough that have pushed me hard and taught me well. I cannot believe it is over so soon.
Still I haven't decided what I want to do? However I would like to get the frog prince book published and take it to an agency / publishers.
Anyways I will upload a snippet of the show and a few pages from the book itself.
